Jon Kamantigue is a Brooklyn, New York based photographer. Brought up in Northern Virginia and originally studying architecture, he soon realized an affinity for photography while picking up his father’s camera. After university, he continued his studies in commercial photography.
By 2008, he enter the photography industry by any means necessary -working as a digital technician and studio manager gaining the real world experience from world class photographers.
In 2015, after working in many studio, he decided to venture on his own and became an independent photographer and entrepreneur. The past few years has been an eye opening experience, taking control of his livelihood and following an artist’s passion.
